The Ernakulathappan Temple (എറണാകുളം ശിവ ക്ഷേത്രം) is one of the major temples of Kerala, located in heart of Ernakulam (Eere Naal Kulam, meaning Pond with perpetual supply of water) or Kochi.
The temple is closely associated with the Mahabharata story of Shiva as Kiratha the tribal hunter and Arjuna.
